Professional Bio:

Anna N. Martinez is a bilingual trial lawyer who has litigated and tried cases throughout the State of Colorado in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, institutional sexual abuse, and business torts.

Anna is a Co-Founder of Abogadas Colorado, a free directory of Spanish speaking lawyers and mediators in Colorado.

Anna earned her B.A. from Columbia University in the City of New York, and thereafter her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law with a Certificate in Federal Indian Law. Anna is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts of Colorado and New Mexico. ​

After graduating from law school, Anna clerked for the late Honorable Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court. Prior to founding her own law firm, Anna worked at a boutique law firm, Starrs Mihm Caschette, and its successor firm Ogborn Mihm, practicing in the fields of business torts, legal malpractice, and personal injury. Anna then joined Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., where she specialized in auto litigation, and insurance bad faith with a focus on Spanish-speaking clientele. 

Anna is Board Member of the Faculty of Federal Advocates, and is Vice-Chair of the Colorado Board of Law Examiners. She is an active member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and is part of the Amicus Committee where she has briefed on various legal questions affecting the right to a fair and impartial jury trial.
