Karri Palmetier

Palmetier Law, LLC

Professional Bio:

I am a government contracts attorney with more than 25 years of experience working in the defense and space industries. In 2016, I founded Palmetier Law to help small and midsize businesses navigate the maze of government contracting regulations.

My government contracts background includes working for - and with - the U.S. Government, e.g., Department of Defense, NASA and the Intelligence Community. This work gave me significant experience in major systems programs, operational contracting, DoD policy development, international procurements and small business matters. I understand how the government makes decisions as a customer, and I am very familiar with its operations such as internal processes, budget and fiscal regulations, and acquisition planning requirements.

With a passion for aerospace and an enthusiasm to be more than just another outside attorney, I enjoy becoming a strategic partner and trusted advisor for my clients. I do this by focusing on learning the details of my clients’ businesses so I can provide the most effective legal and practical advice on strategy and business operations.

Working with you to grow your business, I will provide you with honest, direct, and practical advice. Additionally, I am very comfortable with the entrepreneurial culture of small businesses and the need to remain flexible and innovative, while still complying with the many complex regulations in government contracts.

My governing principles are Integrity, Openness, Honesty and Collaboration. These principles will apply in my relationship with you, as well as in my work with your customers and suppliers. With a focus on collaboration and finding mutually beneficial solutions, I can help keep a company’s relationships with the government strong so that resources are preserved and effective performance is maintained.
